In Sydney, the winner will be presented with a cheque for $42,000 on June 22nd at the State Library of New South Wales.
Book lovers in Melbourne can attend a shortlist event at the State Library of Victoria at 4.30pm on Thursday 13 May, featuring Deborah Forster, Alex Miller, Sonya Hartnett and Peter Temple. Tickets cost $20. Bookings are essential, and can be made by calling (02) 9928 1524 or emailing trustawards@trust.com.au.
