100,000 hits!

Some time this afternoon while I was gadding about doing Christmassy things, the 100,00th visitor to this blog dropped by, so this is a good opportunity to thank all the readers and commenters who’ve visited since I started the ANZ LitLovers blog in July 2008.

I love the online book community: from knowing no-one in my real life who loved books like I do, I’ve made so many friends both virtual and f2f since Web 2.0 made it all possible.  So I want to thank the computer geeks too:)

  3. Hey, well done. That’s one thing I like about the internet, it’s a solution to the problem of “knowing no-one in my real life who …” etc.

    • Seriously, who’d ever have thought that the internet would turn out to be the way it has? Not the geeks who dreamed it up, I bet…

  4. Congratulations! This is an important landmark for this great blog.

    • Thanks, Clarissa:)

  5. Congrats, Lisa! I’m very happy to have discovered your blog — and to have met you in person — this past year or so! It’s the best place for me to indulge my love of Aus lit, so do keep it coming…

    • The feeling’s mutual, Kim!

  6. Congratulations! Very well-deserved, Lisa. Keep up the good work. And thank you.

    • Thanks Kinna:)
