The New Zealand Post Book Awards finalists have been announced, offering a feast of great books for us to track down and enjoy.
The fiction finalists are:
- From Under the Overcoat by Sue Orr
- Rangatira by Paula Morris
- The Trouble With Fire by Fiona Kidman
The non-fiction finalists are:
- Bligh: William Bligh in the South Seas by Anne Salmond
- The Broken Book by Fiona Farrell
- Hungry Heart: Journeys with William Colenso by Peter Wells
- So Brilliantly Clever: Parker, Hulme and the Murder That Shocked the World by Peter Graham
- Tupaia: The Remarkable Story of Captain Cook’s Polynesian Navigator by Joan Druett
