OK, we have three lucky winners of the book giveaway for the three Dublin IMPAC shortlist titles!
I won a competition hosted by Dublin City Library on Facebook and received the entire set of shortlisted titles for the 2012 IMPAC shortlist. This giveaway is for three of them that I have already read.
And the lucky winners of the random draws for these three books were *drum roll*:
- The winner of Even the Dogs by Jon McGregor which was the 2012 IMPAC winner (see my review) was John, from Musings of a Literary Dilettante.
- The winner of A Visit from the Goon Squad by Jennifer Egan was Helen from NZ.
- The winner of Rocks in the Belly by Jon Bauer (the sole Aussie author on the shortlist, see my review and meet Jon at Meet an Aussie Author) was Debbie Walters.
Deb, I already have your address but John and Helen, please email me at anzlitloversatbigponddotcom with your postal address so I can send you your books! The deadline for you to contact me with your address is next Friday July 20th at midnight AEST. If you haven’t contacted me by then, I will do a redraw.
Thanks to everyone who participated:)
How wonderful-thank you for the opportunity!!!
:)

[…] This is going to sound rather ungrateful because I won this book in a competition run by the Dublin City Library and they sent it to me – along with the entire 2012 IMPAC shortlist of ten books – across the world from Ireland to Australia at vast expense ( €46 which is about $100AUD). (You might remember that I held a giveaway because I already had three of the books). […]
