Emerging Queensland author manuscript award

David Unaipon Award for an unpublished Indigenous writer

  • Sugar Shed Road (Martin Doyle)
  • Could Be Worse (Adrian Stanley)

  • My Journey that May Never End (Dorothy Williams-Kemp).

Each category winner will receive a cash prize of $5000.

  2. Wonderful list, Lisa! I want to read ‘The Ambitions of Jane Franklin Victorian Lady adventurer’. I love the titles ‘Liquid Nitrogen’ and ‘The Rest is Weight’ – so beautiful!


    • Yes, that one appeals to me too. A good title can be very enticing!
