I really liked Fever of Animals and I can also tell you, Mireille Juchau is an absolute darling. Was stranded with her in Ubud last October and I loved getting to know her a little. It looks like you haven’t read The World Without Us, Lisa?

No, not yet. To be honest, it wasn’t on my radar. My bad…

That’s great, Guy:) LOL All you need now is the time to read them, right?

Exactly. Easier to buy them than it is to find the time to read them.

And to find the space to put them. I am in the midst of a purge, and my Op Shop is delighted!

I agree with the customer who said that’s an unfair review, IMO to rate Une Village Francais 1-star because it didn’t have subtitles. It’s a brilliant series!

Yes, but I knew that because I’d been in touch with Readings:) I got #1 from JB HiFi, but #2 from Readings and then asked them about #3. They went to some trouble to find out what was happening, and it turns out that the delay derives from the series needing to be translated for Anglo audiences. Series 7 has just screened in France, so it will be a while before I get to see that. My French is good enough now to understand a lot of it, but The Spouse likes it too, so we have to wait for the sub-titled version.
Meanwhile, we wait for series 5 of Game of Thrones! (We don’t do pay TV. We don’t watch anything with ads, not even *sigh* SBS anymore.)
