Book giveaway winner: Quarterly Essay – Moral Panic 101, by Benjamin Law

It’s time to do the giveaway for the latest Quarterly Essay: Moral Panic 101 by Benjamin Law.

The entries were (in order of receipt):

  1. Jenny Snell
  2. Karenlee Thompson
  3. Sue from Whispering Gums
  4. TravellinPenguin
  5. Dawn
  6. Catherine Davison
  7. Erin Bond

And using the random number generator at random.org, the winner is *drum roll* No 3 – Sue from Whispering Gums!

(And you know, there is some justice in that because although Sue is one of my most loyal readers, I don’t think she has ever won a giveaway here before!)

Anyway, Sue I know where you live because we have swapped books on more than one occasion, so Moral Panic will be on its way to you tomorrow.

If you missed out, read Janine’s excellent review of it at The Resident Judge of Port Phillip and consider getting your own copy from Quarterly Essay.  (Subscribing is even better because you can read all the old back issues that you might have missed)

Many thanks to Quarterly Essay for the (inadvertent!) giveaway copy!

  1. As I said on Twitter where I saw this first (because I’m travelling and so being a bit erratic), I’m thrilled to have won this giveaway (though I realise I may now have to read it!!) Thanks, as always, for running these giveaways.

    • You’re welcome!

  2. Oh, and I don’t think I have won one before – or if I did it was a long time ago!
